A hot sauce with no chilli but based on black pepper, not mind blowing heat, just a subtle and tasty table sauce really.

As usual I paid nearly double just to buy it in the little local independent shop but he's a nice chap and if it helps keep him open....

My wife is on a big mango-habanero kick, especially on eggs or breakfast tacos.
Do they sell these in the UK? All are pretty good.
The shop I use in Leeds has just started sticking this, I've got a bit of an issue with having too many sauces currently but I'll give some a go next time I'm in....Do they sell these in the UK? All are pretty good.
He'll post out if you can't get it locally.

I had too many sauces on the go so I bought some salt instead...
I got a Lucas Muecas Chamoy thing for my daughter too, she hated it... I didn't find it too pleasant either, you have to try and not inhale any of the dust in as you taste it because it stops you being able to breathe.
I did another " Hot Ones" night last week and after getting through the ten sauces I had to go in and buy some of the " Piko Riko" that was at number 3 in the line-up because it's very tasty.
The full line-up on offer was:
1. Hot Ones - The Classic
2. Heartbeat Red Habanero
3. Piko Riko
4. Cheeba Gold
5. Hot Ones - Los Caliantes
6. Torchbearer Mushroom Mayhem
7. Karma Cosmic Disco
8. Da Bomb Beyond Insanity
9. Butterfly Bakery Taco Vibes Only
10. Hot Ones - The Last Dab Apollo
Piko Riko was the stand-out for me, it's fairly mild but tasty.
OK, some help from the experts here :-)
Live by myself, staple meal is marinated chicken thighs with rice, but its very dry - I really like my spices so what is the best way to spice, or I suppose more my question is whats the best way to 'moisturise' this meal - dipping sauces or cooking sauces? I would typically put 2 chicken thighs in air fryer, microwave some packet rice, but need the moisture - dump them all in a pan and then add a cooking sauce? (but its only me, a jar of cooking sauce would last a week at least and thats if I had the same meal 5 days a week) or put some dipping sauce on and stir it amongst the rice? Just put up with it and eat it dry(ish). Make my own cooking sauces (up for that) and freeze them into small pots?
Help please :-)

Disclaimer: I'm not a great cook.
How long are you cooking the thighs for and are they-skin-on?
You could try a brine but I'd probably look at a shorter cook time or a lower temperature perhaps?
20 - 25 mins with the first 10 skin down seems to work for me and I'll either add a hot sauce afterwards or make up a marinade first.

Been enjoying these over the last couple of months, especially the Trinidad Scorpion & Clementine and the Carolina Reaper & Blueberry.
Very hot with an added fruitiness.

I got a box of these, dirt cheap, not great, but ok for chucking on a burger or on some ribs etc.

It’s a box of 6, not sure why the description says 4, I gave a bottle to my brother-in-law and a guy at work who both approved.

I still have too many sauces on the go so got another grinder, not strictly one for this thread what with it not being a sauce but it's a chilli and flavour delivery system so some might like it.

Does anyone know of a hot sauce of similar taste/consistency to this from dunn's river?
They're currently sold out in ASDA, a regular for my dad. cheap too at only 70p (ish).
Being quite watery & vinegary the only alternative would be the habanero tabasco.. although that's more than 4x as expensive.
and no.. cholula and franks don't even come close.

That's a real bargain!
Encona Scotch Bonnet might be similar although it's likely to be thicker and twice the price, anything else I can think of is much more expensive.
I'd be tempted to try some different supermarkets and look.in.the "World Food" sections there to see if they have anything similar, I know I'll be checking for that one in future at that price!
Tesco and Ocado both list it but I presume there's a shortage if Asda are out?

yeah i have the econa you mention, it's quite abit thicker. Not many hot sauces with this kind of bottle design for watery chilli sauce. We both like it as its miles cheaper than tabasco. My preferred thing to put on barely cooked scrambled eggs to cut through the creaminess.Encona Scotch Bonnet might be similar although it's likely to be thicker and twice the price, anything else I can think of is much more expensive.

Alternatively have a go at making some! I make my own it’s just a blend of scotch bonnets, red chillies, onion, spring onion, white vinegar, turmeric and a little salt. I add a bit of honey but you can use sugar. Adjust the ingredients to taste, takes very little time to do just be sure to give your blender a bloody good rinse afterward. Stick it in some sterilised jars and it’ll keep in the fridge for ages. A colleague has kept a bottle of my last batch in his locker at work for a couple of months now and it’s still good, like you say great on eggs. Mix it 50:50 with mayo and have it with chips, bloody lovely.
