Nicely performed, but an almost exact facsimile of the original, isn't it?

It's a lot different, including having a violin solo!

I defer to your professional opinion.

And the 4-part female-only harmonies. And different phrasing. And lack of amplified guitars. And percussion. And keyboards. Other than that though...

Beats International - Dub Be Good To Me is a timeless jam-hot classic. A cover of The SOS Band's Just Be Good To Me if you didn't know.

I thought it was a cover of 'Guns of Brixton' by The Clash?

....and here's me thinking it was a cover of a harmonica break from an old spaghetti western

Anything with Amanda Shires and her violin is Duty bound to be excellent, check out her latest stuff on you tube. Jason Isbell also on guitar in the background, both are fabulous together

Your last recommendation has reminded me of Leo's superb cover of Blurred Lines (OK, I know that Anything is probably better than the original...):-

To my mind this definitely meets the thread criterion, Andy Timmons' amazing rendition of David Bowie's Heroes.

The solo at the end is particularly delicious, and really adds something to the song.

I’m sure I’ve posted this in one of these threads before, but I do like this version of Satisfaction by Assemblage…

This is really bad, I feel sick
Holy st, you weren't joking - it's terrible!
Interesting......I think it's brilliant.
Not as bad as i was expecting but not a patch on Scala and Kalacny bros.
This version by Mared Williams is my favourite.

Must admit i never realized that The ballad of Lucy Jordan by Marianne Faithful was a cover until today and i have been listening to that for decades.I heard a cover by Nicki Gillis today which was very good but a bit to polished. To my mind the Marianne Faithful version has the edge because of its rough edges.
