I guess for me a marker of a great cover is a great arrangement of a song and singer that I wouldn't normally listen to.

Holly Humberstone covering Frank Ocean in the BBC live lounge this week absolutely did for me...

I like this.

Doesn't seem to have been released on CD. Is this purely download only?

Couple more Bauhaus covers, John Cale's 'Rosegarden Funeral of Sores' and Brian Eno's 'Third Uncle'
They did cover T Rex's 'Telegram Sam', but that was imo awful frown

I'm not sure we've had the Civil Wars, however they had some great ones which I prefer to the originals:

And what I think is the most talented cover of an amazing song (Waiting around to die - Townes Van Zandt), by the fantastic Lost Dog Street Band:

Falling In Reverse's take on Papa Roach's 'Last Resort'

The lyrics really hit differently.

Great cover of Psycho Killer by Duran Duran of all people.

Not 'better', but still excellent in its own right.

The whole Danse Macabre album is wonderful, I think, and I've not really liked much Duran Duran stuff since their first album!

A touch late

Viewed it today and played it again

Can't comment about it as a cover due to not having heard the original

Good aren't they
