That's brilliant!

..but jeez what struck me was ..how white is that audience!!?
What an odd comment, 82% of people in the UK are white.

Anyway, this is great, her voice is pretty special.

It's not odd at all, it's simply an observation, and nothing more than that, which struck me as the camera pans towards the audience quite regularly. We see a lot more that 18% ethnic represented in the media and so perhaps that's why it appeared striking (and perhaps the middle class nature of Glasto).

Have you seen the version with Newton Faulkner playing 2 guitar parts, percussion, and vocals - all recorded in a lift?

Brent Smith has a hell of a voice. Some great covers;

[youtube[https://youtu.be/hHNHFpF_ZOg?si=Y6fRrZ3v9CIUikky[/youtube]

But that last one, while he sings it well, its just not as good as Eddie Vedder and his now iconic MTV performance, which I think made this voice coach literally wet herself

And Black, Pearl Jam (early in their career, Vedder had a stinking cold). This is probably one of those songs, that while it can be covered well, can never be bettered.

Sort of a cover. Steven Stills and Chris Hillman (formerly the bass player and an original member of the Byrds) co-wrote a song called "It doesn't matter" that was released by Manassas that included both Stills and Hillman. But in a semi-reunion live concert at the Boarding House in San Francisco in 1978, years after the original Byrds had broken up, four of the original five Byrds got together for an outstanding concert. Chris Hillman, Roger McGuinn, Gene Clark, and David Crosby (who just happened to show up) did a spectacular version of this great song as well as the best ever version of Mr. Tambourine Man. Well worth a listen! (They will play after the advertisements) Highly recommend listening to Mr. Tambourine Man as well, better than the Byrds' original ground breaking studio version on their first album in 1965..

Better, maybe, but an updated electronic version of INXS - Don't Change. It was great live.
