Tom Petty (after last night's Hyde Park concert) all day, even now!

Pensioners who have been going for 40 years who can knock spots off some 40 years younger.

Stevie Nicks joined the group to do Stop Dragging my Heart Around.
Set was spoiled by screaming whooping girls in the crowd. Didn't happen years ago.
It was being filmed so hopefully the screams will be edited out.

Nicks did her own set earlier from 6pm but she got a bit nasal'ee I thought.
I was waiting for Refugee, always my favourite Petty number. They didn't disappoint.

Not quite on a par with their set at the Isle of Wight 5 years ago.

I went to the same concert and thought it was tremendous, they are such a classy and polished act. Very entertaining, just the right amount of chatter to the crowd and they know how to please. I thought it was a shame we didn't get to hear Into the Great Wide Open but we had enough other stuff I guess. Like you, I've had his music on repeat since Sunday night, particularly Full Moon Fever.

Listening to Yer So Bad as I write.

I think I have a problem...
(like Eric Burdon - the Animals - sung in 67) 'If you wanna find the truth in life don't pass music by' (Monterey)

I just can't stop playing TP&TH.
Been on all day when I'm in the car, all time when working (not easy!) and when home doing bugger all!
I was asked today how many were at Hyde Park. I had no idea, but TPN (Tom Petty Nation) had the answer (well, a pic, courtesy of TP fan Jan Hass) - more than I thought!

Lots of vids getting up on YouTube now. Really needs a pro vid to edit the (now found out they're American girls) woooooo, wooooo, wooooo's!

Here's a few, starting with Tom's intro. He loves, really loves the UK. 'Thank you very much. Thank you sooo very much!'

Right now, Oxygene part 2 (VII - XIII). Love this stuff. Then again I have a very diverse peculiar taste in music.

Nessun Dorma sung by Billy Joel's guitarist, Mike Delguidice. Look it up on You tube, it's astonishing!

Hadn't really heard of them until saw on TV the other day. Downloaded a couple of Albums via Spotify, very good
