Recently purchased, just listened to, and very disappointed by, Wolf Alice. Expected so much and received so little.musicweeping
Latest album? Stick with it, it's a grower.

Loved the first album, wasn't sure about the 2nd at first.

Pick of the album for me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sRAzBWCnfM

Trouble is that I buy so much music, new CD's, charity shop stuff plus vinyl , I only have a limited time to listen, I need to get into an album quickly. Same with books, if not into it by 50 pages.......

I think that is perfectly understandable

Fresh eyes on old standard themes, deep respect for their musical ancestors, passion - what's not too like?

On a different tack, whilst keeping fresh (60 year old!) eyes on the ball of their influences: https://youtu.be/hO6ekACppxs I have to say the singing is only just above c.r.a.p. - but even for that it has something about it. Crazy Finns eh?

I wish they’d just admit they’ve gone for a Led Zep type sound, rather than denying it.

OK - here’s something completely different....

Apart from Insane Clown Posse’s Great Milenko, when has dressing up as a clown been more fun than: https://youtu.be/1hxonfpfuTY

Currently enjoying Sheffield band Dead Blonde Stars EP "Keepsake" which has now made it's way to Apple music and Spotify.

If you were ever a fan of Soundgarden, AIC or STP then I'd thoroughly recommend a listen.
