The Regrettes - Hey Now.

Heard one of their tracks on YouTube the other day and downloaded their album, haven’t stopped listening since.

The Hot Soles - Glorious Blunder

It’s a bit different, and hard to believe there’s just two of them. Saw them supporting The Last Internationale back in June, and tomorrow they’re sorting Thunderpussy.

I've just discovered Greta Van Fleet.

Definitely got hints of Led Zeppelin.

..."to the funny farm, where life is wonderful all the time"... ???

I wasn't born in 1966, so I'm presuming I was 'exposed' to this song on Jimmy Savile's 'Old Record' Club which was always on while Sunday lunch was cooking, growing up in the 1970s. That, and "Tie A Yellow Ribbon" are the two songs I most remember from listening to that show.

The track was subsequently deleted due to it's comments on mental illness.

PS.
I once worked with a woman who was born on 30th July 1966. Her dad was willing her to arrive before kick-off, but no luck. He missed the entire game.

MY BABY - In the club

Heard it on radio 2 earlier, looked them up on youtube and kinda really like their stuff. Weird, cos only a few days ago I was absolutely ranting at the quality of new music nowadays.

I think a lot of the new stuff nowadays is just as good as the 'old stuff', the downside is these days, the really good new music is done by unsigned artists so gets lost amongst the formulaic crap. Then again, its been a while since a new song made me stop and think oh hell, that's good
