The 2 CD Anniversary issue of Frank Sinatra's DUETS & DUETS 11 for use on a Sinatra radio show. As a Sinatra purist I decided to side with the poor critical reception when issued in 1993/4. Huge sellers of course & I had only ever used the duet with Iglesias on SUMMERWIND.
Now I discover amidst the cynical dross some gems such as the duets with Lena Horne & Carly Simon. The old voice was beginning to go & on some tracks sounds a tad course & hoarse - well he was 77 years old at the time.

Listening to something relaxing while i work,

El Huervo - Rust
&
Sun Araw - Horse steppin'

Probably not to everyone's taste but I'm loving it.

Cleaning up my hard drive and finding wavs and mp3 and stuff from way back that reminded me of really way back then.

It's rather eclectic but then again child hood upbringing used to be that....

I wonder what the child / teenager brought up in 2019 would listen back to, to remind them of TV snippets?

Er, I meant youtube !

PS Apologies for the Love Boat theme, my mum made me watch it ... honest.
