An oldie but a goodie. M - Pop Muzik. Way ahead of its time, possibly the greatest one hit wonder ever. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPoiv0sZ4s4
Ah yes! Some great choices....^^^ included - what really great stuff. We loved the energy at the time, if nothing else!
Similar era, mellow out a bit with those 70s grooves and not-so-groovy fashion.... and why put up with one axeman when you can have two great ones and a bit of "Persephone" to chill away too: https://youtu.be/RjPi9Z13eSg

Not right now but earlier today - singing along in the car with PB Jnr 2 (age 10) and PB Jnr 3 (age 6)....
Foo Fighters - All My Life
A Successful Parenting Moment
For an "unsuccesful parenting moment" I refer M'lud to a trip to Reading Festival. I'd taken YJ Jnr 2 (aged 11 then) to the festival and the Foos were headlining the main stage on the last night. Looking back it has to have been 2012. Jnr 2 was knackered, and in no shape, nor was he old enough, to go solo to the main stage. So he ended up slumped, sulking on the floor at the foot of the stage barriers in the Festival Republic stage while me and his mum watched Futureheads (a capella) and then The View. Foo Fighters - All My Life
A Successful Parenting Moment
I made it up to him in 2019 though, by giving him my ticket when the Foos once again closed the main stage on Sunday night. He had to go solo that year because his mum was busy being torn in two by Bastille on the Radio 1 stage and Enter Shikari at The Pit...
...music festivals, eh? That'll be something our grandchildren will hear stories about, all wild-eyed and disbelieving. "Sure thing grandpa. Of course tens of thousands of people used to crowd together shoulder-to-shoulder with random strangers in a field. And with no face masks too. Of course they did..."

Natural Born Bugie
Marvellous stuff from Frampton and Marriot in Humble Pie - almost dancing around for the Sunday morning.... might have a lazy Sunday afternoon later.....
And don't forget the late and brilliant bassist/singer Greg Ridley (ex Spooky Tooth, another great band).Marvellous stuff from Frampton and Marriot in Humble Pie - almost dancing around for the Sunday morning.... might have a lazy Sunday afternoon later.....
Nat Born Bugie always reminded me in part of the earlier that same year, 69, Get Back.
I'm not a fan of modern stuff, too old. Loathe the hype today and especially (imo) the overrated likes of Ed Sheeran etc.
But occasionally something will come along and make me sit up, especially if it has good electric guitar.
This made me sit up today when I heard it. Best single to date this year. By miles!
Yeah, very very good! I'm assuming guitar is Wendy Melvoin (ex Prince the Revolution).

Very, very good lyrics too and so appropriate today.
