I’m trying to find new innovative bands to like so I don’t end up at a loss when everyone from the 90s retires.

Thanks for that, I didn’t know any of these bands so really appreciate the recommendations. Just added some Foals and Squid albums to my library.

Daniel Avery DJ-kicks CD (this week's eBay purchase), very enjoyable for a sunny outdoor WFH Friday afternoon.

Currently decorating, so The Who live at hull. Recorded the day after the live at Leeds concert.
For me, rawer than Leeds, the mix has brought Moons drumming to the front, & it’s exceptional, summertime blues, my generation & sparks are standouts.

I’ll play it again tomorrow. And Sunday.

I was playing that on vinyl just the other day. "Under the Milky Way" is one of my all-time favourite tracks. A great album. Also reminds me of Mission Beach, San Diego listening to it followed by the Hoodoo Gurus awesome "Blow Your Cool".

Just had to dig them out...

I heard the word 'tubular' in a work context this morning and immediately started playing the intro to Tubular Bells in my head, so now I'm out of my meeting I'm listening to it in my ears, full album start to finish without interruption.
