I'm on a bit of an electronic music kick at the moment, currently streaming Sleepwalker by John Tejada.

I heard the word 'tubular' in a work context this morning and immediately started playing the intro to Tubular Bells in my head, so now I'm out of my meeting I'm listening to it in my ears, full album start to finish without interruption.
Nice. It's been a while since I've listened to it. Thanks for the reminder - next on my list!

Blue Oyster Cult - Don't Fear The Reaper

Did they do anything else? I should check. I'm such a heathen.

If there isn't already a genre of music called lounge core, this lot have just invented it.

eek

So, so much. An amazing back catalogue. I wouldn't even know where to tell you to start it's so rich and varied.

Maybe start with the album on which 'Reaper' first appeared - 'Agents of Fortune' - and take it from there.

Even their worst albums contain real gems. (All IMO, natch)

'Spectres' and 'Mirrors' are probably my favourite BOC albums. Spectres has 'Godzilla' as its opening track - can't beat random hard rock on the topic of Japanese dinosaur monsters wrecking cities. hehe

"She's Mine" by Kip Moore

Such a catchy song and I love how much fun they're having goofing off in the music video, just pure joy from all the performers

Ronnie Wood did some great solo albums. I’ve got this on vinyl, from 1979
Gave it a blast yesterday!

Just been for a snowy aimless plod around the city centre to escape the laptop for a couple of hours. Daniel Avery's Song for Alpha followed by Barker's Utility albums on the earbuds. Very enjoyable.

Have not listened to this one in a while, so was nice to revisit Catatonia's International Velvet CD smile

It's pretty good isn't it, if you like placebo already that is.
