The Killers cover of Shadowplay by Joy Division

"in the centre of the city where the roast beef's waiting for you"

should be

"in the centre of the city where all roads meet, waiting for you"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrbKvxGgFfg&ob=...

I also hear it wrong in the original version too

"I wanna celebrate and live my life, saying ayo, Galileo"

I used to wonder why Taio Cruz was singing about an ancient philosopher.

Coldplay's recent one that goes "And it hurts like heaven", I hear as "And it hurts like Kevin"

First time I heard Aloe Black's song "I need a dollar", I thought he was singing "I need salad, salad is what I need"

And I'm still sure in Nelly Furtado's song Like A Bird, she says "I don't know where my phone is"

A vocalist in a band I was in many years ago thought Ready For Love by Bad Company/MTH was "(Oh baby I'm a) Red Ephalump". Same guy during Stairway to Heaven, used to sing "If theres a bus stop in your hedgerow".
He genuinely thought these were the correct lyrics!

I thought Status Quo's version of Rockin' all over the world was Rockin' all over the ROAD. Even though it was in the title.
