Eagles - Lyin Eyes.
My dad told me all about these bands years ago when I was banging on about Megadeth, Metallica etc.
I listen to music now and I just don't get it. Mind you I was two when this came out, perhaps I should have been born 20 years earlier.
Any other good live performances?

They have some heavy stuff and some chilled stuff. This is a very chilled one. It's from a DVD of a really, really good performance.

Now that is awesome. I'm quite annoyed at myself for not having experience Foo Fighters live. Pretty much at the top of my bands I still need to see live.Haven't watched the vid yet. Was that 2008? I was there. About 5 rows from the front And it was even better when they wheeled Jimmy & JPJ out.

Magazine - Shot By Both Sides. How Howard Devoto is largely unknown and Chris De Burgh is world famous is beyond me.

Considering how many times he must have played it before and his age; incredible.

Probably said it before, but I have loved guitar players since I first watched Peter Green and Danny Kirwan (Mac) in the 60s.
But I just adore the underrated - cue: Mike Campbell.
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers doing Refugee at Oxford Poly in 1980. He's 30 here.

Fast forward 32 years to the Isle of Wight, same song age 62.

Now that guitar playing is like a good whiskey that's matured to perfection.

If this hasn't been posted yet it's a damn shame.

this must be one of the best if you are a Springsteen fan, just look at the Orchestra player's faces to see how much they are enjoying it. It's really very good..

Well for a start he wasn't as gifted or prolific a songwriter as Pete Shelley, the man he co-wrote the song with on the clip you've linked. And Pete Shelley hasn't written or sold as many records as Chris de Burgh... . Great song though.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y05_lyzgzWw
Went to see Yob in Glasgow on Saturday. Some kind soul filmed the set in really good quality.
