The intro to Xanadu by Rush, preferably on a quiet peaceful night in the dead of winter with headphones on, no other sounds just this,
you're lulled into a hypnotic wondrous state................................ and then your front teeth get knocked down your throat.

And of course the ending is the climax to one of the greatest rock tracks in history. An epic masterpiece.

It can't get much better than Don't Bang the Drum by The Waterboys can it? Hold back on your accelerator and then bang, pedal to the metal and your licence in the bin!

Turn on your proper speakers, not the st that comes out of your laptop, and then play it.

Thunderstruck, especially live at Donnington sends shivers down my spine.

Or, for something more subtle, Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith. https://youtu.be/wwKwoU9cQ_o

Stay Clean?

Not for me.
It was as much a tongue in cheek comment as a quest for the "one" smile
Overkill is it.

Ramones: Any. For the simplicity - they all go 1-2-3-4.
Jonathan Richman & t'Modern Lovers: Roadrunner. For going two better. 1-2-3-4-5-6!

I feel you…. wink

I saw them live back in the day at Wembley Arena… so much more than I expected, a tight band.

I did wonder, but Overkill is much less chaotic than Stay Clean...

Autumn song by the Manics has a great opening, it's the best bit if the track by far; the remainder I'm far less fussed by.

Also I must mention Equinoxe Pt1 by Jean Michel Jarre, which is absolutely superb. Beautiful first minute or so.
