Go to Seetickets.com and follow the link to customer services. If you put in your e-mail address, post code and last 4 digits of the payment card, then it should tell you whether or not you were successful....

Good luck!

You'll have a great time its truly the greatest place on earth

I proposed to the OH there last year and we set our wedding date as 22nd June next year specifically so we could go as stage one of our honeymoon so this morning was extra tense

Got mine after an hour or so of F5-ing. Seetickets was a total shambles, as always.

Doing the rough maths

135,000 tickets

100 minutes

Does that not mean they were doing 1350 tickets a minute?

That's not too shabby to be fair

That's fairly impressive I suppose, but it'd be routine for someone like Amazon. It just feels like there should be a better way.

Never mind, got mine and one for the OH anyway!

Glad you got some

Yeah I think the argument from See is that one day a year they have this issue so it would take massive investment to alleviate one issue

Reading some of the forums it does seem they fked up their load balancing this morning as one server was being caned and the other was quiet. People were editing their hosts file to make it resolve to the IP of the quiet server and getting in, this spread all over twitter and See realised, fixed it and that's why the first half of tickets took about 1hr15 and the rest about 25 mins as loads of people got access

Lots of people seemed to be mentioning editing their host file on Twitter, but the IP address I saw mentioned was the one the tickets address seemed to resolve to anyway. Maybe there was another address and those people just had the wrong end of the stick or I checked after they fixed it!

Just had my conformation email.

One of my mates was sorting my ticket for me, as I'm away working at the moment.

This is Glastonbury number 5 for me, my first being 1992, so it's been 21years since my first.

I'm so fking over the moon right now.

Got 6 for me and some mates about 15 mins before they sold out, so feeling pretty lucky! Will be my first one after 8 Readings, and I'm expecting it to be awesome!

You won't be disappointed

Little tip for you, there is a hill, its a huge hill you can't miss it, normally has a Glastonbury sign on the top, head up there Weds or Thurs evening about 6ish to watch the sun go down, its a great atmos everyone cheers the sunset and is really nice, however and this is the key bit

As you go up don't look back, not even once don't be tempted, wait til you get to the top and only then look back its a view like no other

...or go up there in the morning, after having been up all night. And everyone else there has been up all night. It's quite an atmosphere then. wink Yes, the view from there is great. The size of the place is just incredible!

I'm not going, wish I was. Haven't been for a while now.

I've been to Reading 11 times. I go there for the music, and to Glasto for the atmosphere. There will be some great bands, but not like it used to be. smile That said, the Reading line up seems to get worse as the years go on.

laugh Beat me to it. Sitting up at the stone circle having not gone to bed and just being completely chilled out. Watching the sun creep over the site and over the big tops. Many memories from each year of that, the last one with a little N2O to pass the time jester
