I like the tech and transition, it's just I was drawn into techno a lot from end of 93; and DnB just went a bit numbers without soul, for me

Right, gotta bow out, the missus is turning the light out in the cellar..

11:55 - tune coming in (if thats not Dillinja that I am not a junglist. And you get a rare glimpse of emotion from Doc, He knows its hard. Nod of approval. When that tune drops there is a real moment that I pick up on. Just awe.
You'll be needing this....

Doc Scott is awesome and always has been! I've been a fan right from when I heard the original of Deranged, not the lesser Reinforced version that seems to get played more. A man of few tunes, but always quality over quantity to devastating effect. The master of stripped back tunes but without them sounding empty, a very hard thing to do. Goldie didnt call him Ice Cold Doc Scott for nothing!

Tying in with some other recent posts... Kemistry, a top 5 all time tune for me no question. Doc Scotts remix is easily the best version.

I was lucky enough to see Goldie and the Herritage Orchestra do Timeless live twice, easily the best musical events Ive ever been to in my life.
When Kemistry came in it was game over, I cannot even begin to try to explain the atmosphere those nights, just mind blowing!

Sticking with Reinforced, 93 was a killer era for me, and Reinforced were years and years ahead of everyone else when it came to the darkside.
Rolling like Scottie, named after the one and only....

And finally, for this Doc Scott sponsored post, his Future Beats live streams are always an occasion!
Sit back with some beers, stream on the tv and the speakers cranked up for a 4 hour journey into the future, quite literally...

Yes know those tunes, but have refreshed my favourites. I started saving tunes 15 years ago on youtube and in that time many get taken down and re-uploaded so you end up losing stuff!

Headz was another of my goto's, the Platinum Breakz stuff was awesome. I keep saying the same thing in that I just feel so sorry for all those that simply cannot understand this music. I think it has genuinely got me though most of the st in my life.

I forgot to mention Armoured D that you posted earlier, what a huge tune that is! On a big system it’s mental, especially that breakdown with the feedback noise.
Funny thing with that tune was whenever I played it at Milwaukees my mate would always run out of the room because it hurt his ears!
I remember that original Platinum Breaks album well, along with Armoured D was Unofficial ghost and Back on the firm. 3 utterly bonkers tunes, the album was worth getting just for those.

As for the above, I totally agree. the scene and music has been a constant through my life for the last 32 years, little did I know just what that journey would be when I got my first tapes and taste for hardcore

No need to feel sorry, ACE, we are all on different journeys, but with a universal destination; whatever gets us through, gets us through.

True dat. There was a Plat Breakz II and also I think a later III. Razors edge stuff was great.

Benny L again - on that tune above. I do like his tunes. He did a great remix of Dayz, pretty much same as original just a refix. Bit like this which I actually think I may prefer to the original as it is basically the same tune but with new life breathed into it!
