The Mickey Finn VIP mix is better but I can't find a link (unsurprisingly).

Some wonderful stuff getting posted in here. Mr Armchair - you have very similar taste to myself. I must admit since I got my S1000 a few years ago, I absolutely love making drum and bass these days .... JD990 a great companion for the strings!

I've got a track coming out on a German vinyl compilation album shortly, which at 51 is my first proper musical release, even though I've been making music (badly) since age 17 biggrin - I'll post a link once it comes out!

Here's "drum and bass corner" in my otherwise mostly analogue studio. The S1000 input is setup as an effects send in Ableton so I can easily send stuff to it, and I've got SCSI working on Windows7-64 so I can chop the samples up in Recycle, which is a damn site easier than editing on the S1000 itself. I've also got SC2SD for storage rather than rely on floppies. If you actually know this kit, the JD990 has a modern memory card that allows you to store 8 different banks on it which makes storing the vintage synth patches a treat (I have the vintage card installed)

Listened to this in the car this morning - loved it - thanks!

RinseFM is about the only place I ever hear new music these days. I love electro and there are some great electro shows.

Oh yes... this thread.

Been a while. I guess some offerings are due...

Hopefully your sounds / system is set up like mine to appreciate the complexities - no words to describe:

More below as I listen to them and assess the suitability.

A significant moment for me, in my journey through D and B.

I captured it inadvertently, recording hours and hours of pirate radio. It was a stand out.

For me, it comes down to stuff like this though, modern representation, and hard hitting :
