Just heard that Chris Squire has passed away.

A truly amazing and innovative bass player who will be sadly missed.

I'm shocked, my daughter just told me, i knew he was ill but hoped he would have pulled through it. A true virtuoso on the bass and the constant driving force behind yes. A sad loss, rip Chris.

This will be the first time they have EVER toured without Chris. He was the only member of Yes to be in every line-up of the band from the beginning.

First album I ever bought was Close to the Edge and Yes were the first band I ever saw live. Fish out of Water is in my top 3 albums so Chris Squire has been part of life since I was 15. Very, very sad to hear the news.

Seat booked for Newcastle next year.
