Tickets for Hellfest 2018 acquired (not 2017 I know, but I'm still over the moon) cool
You did well there as they sold out in two days. Should be another cracking year at Hellfest. I wanted to go but it would have meant a three week period covering Download, Le Mans (both already booked) finishing with Hellfest. I couldn't quite spare that much time off next year, may be the year after I'll do Le Mans and Hellfest but skip Download as t makes a lot of sense being in France already as they are only ~2 hours apart and the Ferry would be the same.

However, the big one for me next year is Roger Waters, The Wall
So I, thought I, might like to go to the show a few years back in Sydney. Best thing I have ever seen by far. I didn’t realize RW was still doing The Wall, fingers crossed I get another chance to see it again.

Saw the original Wall show by RW back in early 90's in Berlin ... Was excellent (although lots of power problems). Will try for this next year. I've seen PF a few times in various guises so definately one for me

September 2017 - Aussie Pink Floyd at NIA ... Were excellent
October 2017 - Hot Chocolate, The Osmands, David Essex and Suzi Quatro (Legends live) ... Good laugh, not bad at all to be fair
December 2017 - Prodicgy - Brixton
January 2018 - Lady Gaga - Birmingham, rescheduled from October

Probably will find something else between now and December as well

Just finished the first batch of my Autumn gigs last night with Public Service Broadcasting in Portsmouth. This was the 6th time I've seen them (first was in 2013) and was fantastic, best so far to be honest and it's great to see how they've evolved. Can't recommend them live or the new album highly enough....brilliant band.

Saw Blancmange last Friday in Southampton, another great gig by them and really enjoying the new music. The old classics are still great but if you like well observed and interesting lyrics coupled with slightly dark electronica it might be your thing. They are still out on tour, very highly recommended and Neil Arthur is certainly very entertaining live.

Finally saw Marc Almond in Portsmouth a couple of weeks ago, been waiting a long time (decades) to see him but it just disappointed from the word go. Hated the choice of music he played on the whole (60's stuff) and to be honest we should have left after 30 minutes so as to not sully our opinion of him. An evening and £90 wasted, absolute shame....would still go and see any Soft Cell reunion though!!

Just got Sleaford Mods in Brighton and Saint Etienne at the DWP in Bexhill to go this year now.

I saw Sleaford Mods on Saturday - for some reason it was really quiet until the last few songs when they turned the volume up.

That made all the difference and rescued it for me.

Shame I missed them on the last tour as I would imagine they would superb in a small venue.

Completely agree about Public Service Broadcasting - I'm off to see them at the DWP in Bexhill tonight. I saw them earlier this year and took a late decision to catch them again (bought the ticket last night). Should be a good 'un.

I saw them at the weekend at Rock City in Nottingham. Third time seeing them and the best they've ever been for me, fantastic set - even did Lit Up which was an unexpected bonus. Cracking band.

Another fan here, just saw them in Norwich at UEA for the second time. My Mrs isn't the biggest fan of their but loves the live shows, the video and the music just work so well together.

Going to see Ben Ottewell in Winchester on Saturday night (150 max Gig) and see that Gomez are touring next year to mark 20 years of 'Bring it on' ... Will get tickets for that when they're released tomorrow...

Metallica, O2, Tuesday night. Incredible event as expected, Hetfield et al were great, bit worried about the sound balance during the warm up band but they sorted it for Lars!

Epically loud, interesting light show (drones!) and reserved-yet-amazing pyros.

Would reccomend catching the last half of the tour.

Saw Ben Ottewell on his last tour, he's great and always plays a few Gomez tracks in his sets - he's always finished with Tijuana Lady whenever I've seen him and his voice is as good as its ever been. Absolutely trying for Gomez tickets tomorrow!

Just booked Flight of The Conchords in Brum in March.

More excited about that one than Metallica, EOL or WOTW this year.
