How was this? I haven't seen them for some time (missed a chance to do so earlier this year) but I haven't enjoyed their last few albums TBH so I haven't been that fussed. Are they still doing the biz live?

Looks like I'll be going to see Bill Bailey in Shepherd's Bush at Christmas. Saw him last year and he was outstanding.

Debbie Harry just exudes cool; hard to believe she is only 3 years younger than my mum.

glad I saw them as its been 30 odd years since last time & there was every possibility that they'd be truly past it, but that wasn't the case.

For those of you that have been to the Manchester Arena recently how long should I give myself to get through security? Would be helpful to know for the QOTSA concert on Sun. Cheers

He wants £60 each. Anyone know what the face value would be?

We were there las5 night watching Blondie as well, great to see them and Clements on the drums made the evening for me

Subsequently found out they are seated. Who goes to gigs and books a seat ffs. Even worse at the o2.

We went through when the support act had already started - straight through. Very efficient and friendly security people.

Off to see Depeche Mode at the O2 on Wednesday. Very excited! Saw Queens of The Stone Age at the M.E.N last night,brilliant live act,crowd was mental!

Black Sabbath were great.

Deep Purple were amazing. Hard to believe that Ian Gillan is 72 now - he's still got it

The only one for 2018 so far is Fatboy Slim in Feb

Oh and I have tickets for an audience with Brian Blessed

Just on my way home from Depeche Mode at the O2 - a great night. Support act were dire though, some Chinese group called Re-TROS.

Unfortunately congestion at North Greenwich station meant we missed the last train to Manningtree! Currently en route to Colchester and will have to get a taxi to pick my car up...
