A cracking bit of work that. Should fill the OP's requirement. I like Rumours , but I think Seal would be my next choice to Out of the Blue.
Good shout with OOTB, ELO seem more popular than ever lately.

Yesterday I decided to select a few tracks to play from this album and being unable to pick a few favourites ended up playing them all except for Stairway To Heaven as this track bores me to tears, it is a shame that Stairway was included on this album as it definitely goes against the grain, nevertheless this album is pure genius and never ages, it has everything
You've gone right down in my estimations. I quite liked you as a fan of The Tubes, but shocked that you actually like this dirge!
You're right that Stairway is crap, but it isn't out of place at all. It's all pretentious cobblers.
I seem to remember you think Withnail is crap as well Twig, which renders your judgement on anything suspect to say the least

Giving STH stick is a bit harsh, it's a victim of it's own success, I'm guessing most people loved it when they first heard it, I know I did back in the 70s but it's one of those tracks that has been played a bit too much over the years. When you get a track in a similar vein that hasn't been played to death it still works Child In Time by Deep Purple comes to mind.

Costello has made some good records over the years but he's such an obnoxious tit, the insulting of Ray Charles in his early days should have been the finish of him. I was at the Linda McCartney tribute concert at the RAH back in the 90s, with every artist limited to 2 or 3 songs, Declan decides to sing a couple of obscure numbers whilst eveyone else did a Beatles song and one of their own well known songs, mind you he was lucky enough to hoodwink Diana Krall.
