OTOH the Jacksons were really rather sad I thought when I flipped over for a break from the FFs.

Amazing performance (so far) by the Foos. Wondering how long it's going on for...

Discovery of the weekend so far is British Sea Power. Never heard them before but liking their sound. Very reminiscent of my youth listening to The Cure, Joy Division, Jesus & Mary Chain, etc.
BSP are fab -- The Decline of British Sea Power in particular

Under Pressure. Just loving this. Even sitting at home with OH, this is such a communal experience. We had our daughter's 13th birthday party tonight which was Glastonbury themed and this just tops it all off.

sometimes live music doesn't come across that well on TV but this is almost as good as being there well after many beers it is.

Not a fan of the Foo Fighters or of this kind of music full stop, but utterly loving this gig. Times like this I'm glad I'm open minded enough to be able to appreciate any kind of music.

Foos were good
Liam Gallagher was OK
Katy Perry was great (outfit crap)
Dizzie Rascal got better as the set went on
Jools Holland was superb as ever
The XX were good
Kaiser chiefs were pretty good
Clean Bandit may well have just been a backing track
