Not quite 30 years + but I saw the Manics as a four piece back in 1993 then again in 2014. Better than ever IMO... the fact they changed tack to a more "mainstream" sound after Richey disappeared attracted me as a fan and they show no sign of slowing down or quitting, thank goodness.
Sadly missed them last month at Bristol.

After reading this thread I actually struggled to remember the last gig I went to. It was nearly 4 years ago, Hawklords. I thought it was awful but had to pretend to like it as the girlfriend was really into it and knew a couple of the band members.
Before that I have no idea. Can't think of anyone who is still going that I'd actually want to see. I like hardly any pop/rock acts and the few I do, would far rather remember as they were in their heyday.

Like yourself in the last 15 years shows I've seen have been few and far between, Jackson Browne the other day then a couple of years back the Faces in 2015 at Hurtwood Park with Rod on vocals(not Hucknall thank god) and then a long gap. Two of the most enjoyable shows I've been to over the years were Everything But The Girl doing a show in the Bloomsbury Theatre, the sound quality was great and Swing Out Sister at the Jazz Cafe, they did a great set and the Jazz Cafe has to be my favourite venue,I use to love the low ceiling in the Hammersmith Palais.
