And IIRC the MY original lyric was "pass the coochie(so?)"(a joint) and was replaced by "dutchie"(a pot" as it was felt not right for kids to be singing about drugs.
I may have missed remembered though.
i remember hearing that as well.

Bob Dylan apparently became a Beatles fan when he heard their drug song "I wanna hold your hand"

And when I touch you I feel happy inside
it's such a feeling that my love
I get high
I get high
I get hiiiiiighh

I'm sure they must be in the other thread, but here are two:

"Excuse me while I touch this guy" from Purple Haze

and

the Clash classic, "Ptarmigan" (Tommy Gun)

The version I heard was, "Excuse me while I kiss this guy"

Another two:

"The jealous mother's son" (Billie Jean, Michael Jackson)

and:

"The hot dogs go on" (Titanic theme, Celine Dion)

One of my favourites is:

"The train it won't stop going, no it won't slow down" (Locomotive breath, Jethro Tull)

Ha ha, reminded me of my lad showing his PH credentials at an early age singing along to Bryan Adams (some sources incorrectly title this song "Somebody")...

I need some pie
Some pie like you
Everybody needs some pie
I need some pie
Hey what about you
We all need some pie

"It doesn't make a difference if we're naked or not."

Obvious song, clear mistake

The Bond song with percussion just at the wrong time in a couple of places gets old Gladys singing "got a license to kilt"...

And Kim Carnes banging on about how Betty Davis's eyes could make a crow blush...

Madonna also said that "last night I dreamt of some dago" and goes on to sing, in same verse, about a girl with eyes like potatoes

I always thought MY were singing "pass the dutchie PAN the left hand side" - probably because i believed the story about it being a cooking pot.
