The National - Sleep Well Beast. I get more out of it every time I listen to it.
Fantastic album. I absolutely love The National, and this album doesn't disappoint!

Not sure what else there was new this year, as I stream like a lot of people, but certainly a few which I believe are new...

Dizzee Rascal - Raskit - Dizzee fully back on track. The beats and the lyrics are awesome.
Lewis Capaldi - Bloom - Alright, technically an EP, but it's wicked. Shame his best songs aren't out yet, but give it time...
Prophets of Rage - Prophets of Rage - Think this came out this year? Awesome album, and fantastic live.

Probably lots of others, but I can never remember.

Another one I should have mentioned: Antisocialites by Alvvays. Indy rock with a pop edge, great guitars and a pretty blonde signer with clever lyrics and an amazing voice. Yet another great group from Canada,

Just looked up prophets of rage. I was at T in the parks first year when ratm and cypress hill did a duet on the main stage as the headliner. Superb memories.

From the prophets of rage vid I just watched it sounds very formulaic and predictable. I hate to say it, almost resembles some limp bizkit stuff. I'll reserve proper judgement until I've heard more of their stuff because it sounds like a good combo.

Really enjoying The National album. Top notch stuff.

Mr Jukes - God First
London Grammar - truth is a beautiful thing
Sampha - Process
Lloyle Carner - yesterday's gone

Thought there would be more but loads were 2016 or just EPs this year with albums due early 2018.

Was going to include RagnBone Man but not so sure now as the singles have all been played to death so I've put it to one side.
