That's really sad. The first gig I ever went to was The Cranberries at the venue that is now Leeds O2 Academy. I remember it well - cracking live music and Dolores's wonderful voice. There was the odd heckler in the audience and she responded to them in a way which put them in their place and caused great amusement for the whole audience. Today's news is one of those things that makes you feel like everything's just stopped. RIP.

BBC suggested it was sudden & unexplained, she was in London in the middle of recording something.

Terribly sad, she was pretty amazing, which I'm only really realizing now.

Only 46 and a mother of three, it's not right.

Very sad to hear of the death of Dolores. Zombie would be in my top songs and videos of all time. Linger ain't half bad either. Terrible news and no official cause yet.

Terrible news, really sad. As one would expect getting lots of airplay on Irish radio at the moment. I had forgottten just how many good songs they have, Zombie and Linger aside.
Also a mother to 3 kids, very sad.

I saw The Cranberries as a supporting act to a Liverpool based band called Top (who??) in c. 1990 at the Manchester Academy. They were better than the act they were supporting to be honest, and liked them from that moment on...

Such a sad shame!
