I saw a short U2 documentary the other day with some early stuff of theirs. Bono has a fantastic voice.

Lowell George from little feat had an fascinating voice
Can listen to it all day.
The mighty Joe cocker could knock down walls at 100 yards.
The gravel that rod Stewart found was quite unique.
But hard to beat Daltrey in my book - love reign Ower me. 5:15, young man blues etc.

Rod Stewart's work with The Jeff Beck Group was astonishing. I find it a shame that he didn't stick with blues and went to MOR crap.

Then again, my favourite Stewart vocal is on Ol' Man River from Jeff's Truth album.
