King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard tour GB in October.
Their latest album is very thrash-metallish.........with a Gizz twist.

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard one week from now!
Will be my first time. It’s been a long wait! Not a metal head in particular but I dig the new album somehowNexus Icon said:
The Wildhearts in Amsterdam on the 24th. New mini-album, Diagnosis, dropped today (iTunes £4.99 - other albums are available). I've seen them loads of times but this is my first gig abroad and my first time in Amsterdam. Lots to be excited about.
I first watched them in the early 90’s supporting love/hate dickymint said:

Have tickets for "indie daze" in town later today, a "festival" in the Kentish town forum.
Now, the mrs is on a course and won't make it down till about 6 or so, and TBF poppies and therapy? are our must see attractions but there is a couple of others on the bill I'd happily watch. But I'm not sure I can be bothered to go and stand about alone all day in the stinking craphole that is the forum with only overpriced crap lager to fritter too much money on in alleviating the boredom.
At least when we went to radio2fest in Hyde park the other week to see pet shop boys we could just find a patch of grass, have a sit down and a drink and a chat while trying not to contract aural aids from I believe it was something called westlife after having a good laugh at status quo.
Am I too old and jaded?

I would concur. Just got home from the Southampton gig and thought he absolutely rocked the place. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZR6nErGVlo

Taking Wifey there this Friday for Her first ever live gig!!! Midge Ure so it should be pretty tame
I went to see Creep Show night in Liverpool.
John Grant is exceptionally good - Creep Show are ste.
And judging by the audience reaction, i.e. the longer they want on, the more muted it was, I was not the only one with that opinion. And 55 minutes and a 5 minute encore. Which was just as well really.
