Been into rock music for 40 odd years, never seen Aerosmith, so thought I'd try for the Manchester gig. Within 30 minutes of going on sale the only tickets available were on resale sites - starting at double the price for a ticket half a mile away at the other end of the arena.
I can highly recommend Twickets. Rollin said:

I had considered travelling abroad, but the cost of the flight and accommodation... . Manchester is indeed a joke, and it's the same company - Ticketmaster - up to tricks again.
Depends if you also consider it a city break. I noticed they are playing Hungary, and plugged the numbers out of curiosity.Budapest is £84 standing at present
Flights £100
Hotel £140 2 nights
Transport probably £40
I like booking gigs abroad for holidays, instead of going on 'proper' holidays. It's a bit fun and different, and it's interesting to spend a bit of time in other cities.
Anyone got MCR tickets?
Very marmite I suspect but I've seen them more times than I can count and it's always a good show. Missed out on the first two waves but number one son managed to grab tickets for the Thursday this morning.
Must admit I'm having quite the 2002 revival on my stereo today.
