The Floyd Effect Northampton Roadmender in February (a Pink Floyd tribute, obviously)
Suede at Nottingham Rock City in April
Considering Weezer at Brixton Academy in June too but I’m not sure about that one as it’s big money.

New album hasn't grown on me like The Satanist but that was such a high watermark I am not surprised.
I'm seeing them in Glasgow, as with you I haven't fallen in love with ILYAYD like I have with The Satanist, but that's a modern classic.

I’m going to Brian Fallon & Craig Finn and would like to do the rest had I not agreed to wind the budget in a bit with the missus, I suspect we have very similar tastes. Just got the Twilight Sad newbie playing now as said wife watch some ste TV awards show!

An evening with Devin Townsend at Bristol St George's in April. Until recently his career had completely bypassed me since I last saw him with Steve Vai in 93. Looking forward to this.

Watched The 1975 for the 5th time at the O2 on Friday. Awesome show as always. Paid about £45 face value for standing tickets.

Now looking to go and see Drake there too, who is doing 6 nights at the O2. Standing tickets are £140 face value. What a joke.

I'm a massive fan of live music, and fully get that artists no longer make anything out of recorded material, but 140 quid a ticket is a joke.

Still, demand and supply, if people want to pay it, they will pay it I guess. Too spendy for me.

(Unless it is The Smiths reforming, in which case I'm telling t'wife it's a total bargain!)

We saw The 1975 last night in Brum. I haven't been to heaps of gigs, usually a couple a year, but that was the most enjoyable show I've seen. Real spectacle, and the place was absolutely bouncing. Defo a band I wanna go see again at some point.

Absolutely gutted, flying back from Azerbaijan on Saturday night to go and see Ozzy/Priest in Manchester on Sunday, only for Ozzy to cancel due to a cold. At least I'll get to see Thunder on Monday night before returning back on Tuesday

Went to see Snapped Ankles last night... doing their bit for IVW. Outstanding as always - almost certainly my favourite live act of the last couple of years.

Supporting was a band called Diaphragm Failure - seem to have been around for ten years, but completely passed me by. Absolutely fking awesome; make Sleaford Mods look like a girl guide singalong.
