Great to see her enjoying herself.
This most probably is my all time favorite drum solo, ff to 3 mins if the song is a bit too much.

This girl knows her way around a kit and she has also done a great cover of Dave Weckl's 'Island Magic'. I'd love to see her tackle the drum intro to 6:00 by Dream Theater.

Lovely.

More Gorecki than VW, I wouldn’t have guessed the pulse was that fast. My arm would fall off conducting at that pace!!
Oddly, when I watched this, the first thing I thought was that he was conducting at far too quick a pace! It appeared and sounded like a much slower score.

Steve C, were you always in the music business or did you start writing at home and just sending work in to TV/Films?

Left school and became a van driver - decided it was far too much like hard work, so went back to college and studied music. Became a session musician for about 10 years then started writing. It was a lot easier back then as few had decent recording equipment - now everyone has the ability to compose and master very decent sounding music in their back bedroom!

As for the conducting - I always have to work to a click so that people can edit the music and it remains same speed. He's actually counting crotchets, but it does look faster than the track sounds.

The drums on wont get fooled again sound pretty unexciting on the album mix, but listen to the isolated track, talk about a work rate!
