Older singers that still have it.

James Taylor. Saw him in concert and at 70 yo sounded like it was 1970.
Agreed, I saw him about 5 years ago and he sounded amazing. He has never abused his voice and sings in a lovely, relaxed style and never really pushes his range. He is a real inspiration to me, as a singer and guitarist.paulguitar said:

Massively underrated and better now than he ever was. Thunder put on a great show if you get the opportunity. Their Christmas gigs are especially entertaining.
Saw them last year on the 'Rip it up' tour, they were excellent. Got tickets for the Bridgewater Hall in Feb '19.nitrodave said:
Rolling Stones... saw them a few years ago in Hyde Park and they were epic.
Last time I saw them live was in 1990 and Jagger's voice was terrible back then, and the odd film/tv gig I've seen of them since then doesn't lead me to believe that the 1990 gig was a one off bad example that I saw.

They’d probably both get the raving zig at being described as older singers, but Stevie Nicks, 70, and Bonnie Raitt, 69 today, can blow Little Mix and The Spice Girls out of the water.
Well yes, hardly a high bar there though!Frank7 said:
