Agreed, I saw him about 5 years ago and he sounded amazing. He has never abused his voice and sings in a lovely, relaxed style and never really pushes his range. He is a real inspiration to me, as a singer and guitarist.

Massively underrated and better now than he ever was. Thunder put on a great show if you get the opportunity. Their Christmas gigs are especially entertaining.

Saw them last year on the 'Rip it up' tour, they were excellent. Got tickets for the Bridgewater Hall in Feb '19.

Whilst a somewhat divisive chap....I think Bono's voice has improved with age.

Rolling Stones... saw them a few years ago in Hyde Park and they were epic.
scratchchin

Last time I saw them live was in 1990 and Jagger's voice was terrible back then, and the odd film/tv gig I've seen of them since then doesn't lead me to believe that the 1990 gig was a one off bad example that I saw.

They’d probably both get the raving zig at being described as older singers, but Stevie Nicks, 70, and Bonnie Raitt, 69 today, can blow Little Mix and The Spice Girls out of the water.

I know someone that saw John Fogerty live last month and they reckoned his voice was not far off what it had been back in the hey day of CCR.

Has Joni still got it? Yeah, her last album 'Shine' had some of her very best songs on it, but that was released in 2007 and she didn't tour it. I don't think she has even made a live appearance since.

Billy Joel.
I clicked this thread to post just this. Saw him at Wembley, think it was two years ago. Absolutely magnificent, tear inducing joy.
I knew you’d be all over this thread dude!
