PSB with a live orchestra, so wish I'd known about it.

J. Willgoose, Esq is a genuine eccentric genius!

Listening to it as I type

I've not heard of PSB before, nor Mr. Willgoose, but I'll be searching for more that's for sure!

Deeply impressed

First saw them at Glastonbury in (I think) 2013 in a small tent. Just the two of them (J. Willgoose, Esq and Wrigglesworth) and they had only the one album out (Night Mail etc.) which I hadn't even heard all of. Big fan ever since.

Thanks for the heads up guys.
Heard some of their productions over the years, hadn't seen this on TV (don't watch much TV)
Listening on lap top but downloading it on the Sky box to watch properly.

I was there! I've seen them 5/6 times now (heading rapidly through my 6th decade, with around 300 gigs against my name, from Ella Fitzgerald to Orbital, to Anthrax) & I think they're one of the most original & innovative bands I've ever come across. I first heard the "Spitfire" single on 6Music yonks ago & thought it was a brilliant idea, but couldn't possibly be stretched out into an album or anything beyond a small support tour. Wrong!

The Live at Brixton album/DVD is an even better/bigger show (well, I don't like to say it....but....again...I was there smile ), with choir, fireworks, orchestra, dancers (proper ones that time, not a couple of mates arsing around in the spacesuits) & was a genuinely funny gig too. ( Not really comparable, but I think the last time I laughed out loud at at gig was at Ted Nugent attacking 2 kids with a mic stand at Newcastle Mayfair in 1980. Lots more blood at that gig, I seem to remember).

Big fan of the PSB popular beat combo. Definitely worth catching live if you get the chance.

The iPlayer link expires on Monday, so here's a youtube link that will hopefully stay alive a bit longer.
