The Killers and the Manics are my favourite two bands, this was the dream gig as Ashton Gate (June 9th) is in my city. And speaking of Bristol, the Council have cancelled all the major events to the end of July which includes the Harbour Festival. A week later is the Balloon Fiesta, there will be a lot of businesses that will struggle without the balloon income this year if it's pulled.

Inevitable, but still a little sad. Hopefully the Manics diary will align with them and the gig will be as it would have been.
I'm pretty much resigned to no gigs happening until September at the very earliest.
On a brighter note, loads of artists I am into are doing online gigs from their home via various social media channels, some are great. some suffer from far too much lag, I suspect wherever they live just has poor broadband and struggles with streaming live video. On the whole though it is great to see, obviously it can't replicate the real thing but it's saving me a load of money!!
I've also uncovered a load of live gems on YouTube that I've simply not had the time to seek out before!
