Think The Killers / Manics is still going on in late May, early June.
No chance......egor110 said:
The singer from little angels did a vlog yesterday and he was saying promoters he knows have said there not putting on any gigs until next year.
That's a bit of a coincidence, if Toby Jepson is who you are on about.I'm going to The Killers/Manics concert as I've been a fan of the Manics since 1993 when they played Milton Keynes Bowl as one of three support acts to Bon Jovi. The other two were Billy Idol and Little Angels!

Im debating on taking a punt on Slam Dunk Festival with the revised date in early September.
What are the chances of this happening..?
I was going to go to Slam Dunk with my brother, but as Pennywise have dropped out I probably won't now - can't see any US bands committing to making the trip at the moment. What are the chances of this happening..?
I have Bad Religion tickets for London, they've cancelled all of their 40-yr anniversary tour dates (US & world) - waiting on a refund from Ticketmaster...
Was also going to see Snuff in New Cross next week, that's been moved to Jan 21.

Plus they'll carry out tours at home in the states before flying here , that's assuming gig venues are actually going to open in 2020.
Would it not just be logical to assume ALL events will not go ahead until lock down and social distancing is no more ?
Say you have a concert that is sold out with 1,000 tickets. If you still have social distancing then 1,000 cannot go. So even if said concert goes ahead, who decides who with a ticket is not allowed to attend ? You can't so the concert will not go ahead.

Yeah I'm with you , bands are not going to want to fly over here.

Loads of US shows are being cancelled at the moment as well - not surprised about Bad Religion cancelling everything, they probably aren't as reliant on the income generated from touring etc. Plus they'll carry out tours at home in the states before flying here , that's assuming gig venues are actually going to open in 2020.
Real problem for loads of smaller US (and Euro) hardcore & punk bands I follow though.
Right now I don't fancy being in a venue anyway, small or large.

Jacked in there slamdunk booking because they were asked to support my chemical romance on the USA tour , that's not happening so they go back on the slamdunk line up !

Anyone with tickets for Faith No More in June heard anything? I know they've cancelled Aus/NZ, and I expect ours will go the same way - seems very quiet though.
Manchester's only three weeks away, I can't see it happening. I've got my fingers crossed for Aerosmith mid-July.popeyewhite said:

I'd not put your pension on that.
I've stuff booked in October and November and I don't expect those will be going ahead.
Jeez I hope they do, I've got three gigs in October. Surely to God even if we have to wear masks gigs in October won't be affected.I've stuff booked in October and November and I don't expect those will be going ahead.
And on top of that, many venues, especially smaller ones, will have gone bust. The theatre in Southport went pop last week and they have said no one will be getting a refund on their tickets because they are bankrupt.
Until we stop social distancing events are just not going to work.
