The Black Crowes are still at The Apollo Manchester on Oct 20.
Their website has pretty much everything either cancelled or rescheduled for sometime in 2021. Seems very odd that a few have not been been changed (like The Black Crowes).I'd tickets for The Hairy Bikers in October in Liverpool at the Philharmonic Hall. Everything has been cancelled/rescheduled until the 31 of October.

Their world tour kicks off in the UK... I'm worried the reason for no change is they can't reschedule the UK dates and may have to cancel. So basically they're biding their time anf hoping the UK leg can go ahead without virus restrictions. According to Gov.uk gigs should be restarting beginning of Oct. [shrugs]snuffy said:

Frank Turner's playing a live gig tonight at The Grand in Clapham to see how feasible gigs are at the moment with social distancing. I don't think we need masks at gigs do we? I went to an art exhibition at the weekend and they said we didn't need one in there.
Maybe seated Jazz gigs can start up soon but I don't know what's going to have to happen in order to open up enough for crowds of people getting sweaty and singing in a tiny area.
I don' think you need a mask as long as people are 2m apart. That works if it's a new event, since they can limit the ticket sales. But not if it's already sold out at pre-CV levels (because who decides who can't go?).Maybe seated Jazz gigs can start up soon but I don't know what's going to have to happen in order to open up enough for crowds of people getting sweaty and singing in a tiny area.
But, at 2m, as you say, are they feasible economically ?
And if they go back to normal capacity, I reckon that would mean masks. And again, as you say, how's that going to work ?
2m makes it a pretty sad experience, and masks makes it both a sad an physically uncomfortable experience.
The sad part is
"The Grand was at less than 20% of capacity (around 200 people), but [the owner] had to double the number of staff working, to meet all the guidelines. There was no talent spend (I didn’t get paid), and no advertising spend (the show sold out pretty much straight away), and yet it still lost money."

Looks like that gig I mentioned was part of a trial to see how the new setup would work, he's done a write-up here

I just finished ready his write-up. The sad part is

I've been to some gigs with seating like that (JTQ was the last one I think), but being on my own I was sat with strangers. Will they let you even do that now ? A table for one sir ?
Live music can't survive at 20% capacity. For example, the last gig I went to was to see James Grant (Love and Money). It was full, but no more than 150 people, all seated. About £20 a ticket (£3,000 in sales). Then take out the costs involved and what's left for the man on stage ? Not much, if anything. Never mind if the capacity is reduced by so much. It don't work.

Oh, I was meant to be at Wacken in Germany this week too; more reason to be miffed
I had no idea how much I was going to miss sitting in a muddy field.Just looked at the forecast for the area - it's amazing! 28c and dry, bloody typical as it's normally a wash out!

Just got an email through that Guns N Roses in glasgow has been rescheduled to Thursday 24th June 2021.
Was hoping it'd still be within a day or two of Green day (it's now on the following Monday) so that'll make it a good bit more expensive but hey ho. It's a gig at least!
It's a gig , if it actually happens thats a whole other thing .Was hoping it'd still be within a day or two of Green day (it's now on the following Monday) so that'll make it a good bit more expensive but hey ho. It's a gig at least!

I think they are only coming up with new dates in the hope that you will not ask for a refund. I've not asked for any refunds, but I don't expect any of the new dates to happen.I wonder what will happen when a rescheduled date is rescheduled for a second time ?
