There's plenty there that I'm really excited about. Elbow, Diana Ross, Bonobo, Caribou (awesome live, highly recommend), Confidence Man, Courtney Barnett, Foals, Four Tet, Idles, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Leon Bridges, Noel G, Primal Scream, Sam Fender, Wet Leg...

None of the Pyramid headliners take my fancy at all which is a bit of a shame, and there's a heap of bands on there I've never heard of as well - I'll be giving them a go on spotify before the festival though, I've always loved that aspect of the run up. Always hidden gems to be found!

As always the poster is a small fraction of the full line up and after a couple of years of no Glastonbury at all I really couldn't care less about who's playing or who isn't, I just want to be there and soak up the atmosphere - I love a lot of the non-music bits and just wondering about. Getting in the circus tent for an hour or two with a bloody mary in the mornings whilst the hangover eases off is an absolute must. Only a few months to go!

Seen some great headliners on Pyramid over the years, but actually find it more convenient when I am not bothered by the big 3, which is the case this time.

Much less clashes to manage

Same here, I've got 23 'would like to see' bands on a first scan, although none of them are amongst any of my current favourite bands.

I'm not really bothered by the headliners but I will go and see Paul McCartney; I'm not a particularly huge Beatles fan, but I've seen him live at Coachella and The O2 previously and he was excellent.

I think he will quite possibly go down in history as an epic Glastonbury headliner. With everything that's happening in Ukraine right now it's difficult to imagine the state of the world in 3 months' time, PM has always carried a strong anti-war message, I expect it will be an emotional performance and he'll have a lot to say about Vlad.

I'm also intrigued to see Megan Thee Stallion, as a 49yo dad into indie bands I don't see many female Texan rappers shaking their booty so I will wander down to (West Holts, I expect) to check her out. This video always cracks me up, the dude is what I imagine many of the inhabitants of NP&E to be like!

One of the better lineups for me and for the first time in 6 festivals I haven't got tickets.. Sunday 27th better go well for me or I'll be looking for work at the festival which is not on my list of ideals

The resale did go well for me and I'll see you all in the fields!

I'm actually pretty happy with the line up thus far - enough acts to keep me happy with hopefully not too many clashes leaving time for exploring

Lineup looks hopeless to me but there’s 9 of us going all mates since uni so we’ll have a great old tear up 🆙

I tried on the resale but not luck for me or my mate.

We had a good run, I think I've been to the previous 5. The line up gets worse for me every year but I'd still love to be going. Turnstile are the only band on the list that I both want to see and haven't seen before.

I've not been to Reading for a few years, but it looks like I will be this year. The line up seems a it better there this year.

Funnily enough my entire posse of Reading people (26 of us at our numbers height) have given up on Reading. We're just getting older!

I live within walking distance of the Reading site, have been 20 odd times but I'll be 50 this year, so am totally not the target market any more.

We are doing Camper Calling on the August Bank Holiday instead. Loadsa 90s bands there and, like Glastonbury, you can take your own food and booze in, which makes a huge difference on the spending. Plus it's not full of 16yo's off their heads on Ket like Reading.

Reading does get good lineups, as does Creamfields for dance music, but it is very much the first festival for kids to go to and the crowd / atmosphere is like being on the train at 4pm from Croydon on a school day

Walked around Pilton yesterday for their "Jumble Trail" and took a detour to check out the site, nearly got run over by Michael Eavis in his famous Red Land Rover and he gave us a smile and a wave!

All getting a bit exciting with less than 50 days to go

The Leftfield line up has been released.

https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/left-field-...

I'll be popping in to see Billy Bragg, unfortunately he's doing just the one headline set, although I dare say he'll be popping up with Romeo Stoddart and/or The Magic Numbers as they were heavily involved with his latest album.

Me and my other half really like The Magic Numbers, so will likely go and see them.

A few other areas have announced their line ups as well -
Avalon - https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/field-of-av...
Silver Hayes - https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/silver-haye...
Theatre and Circus - https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/check-out-t...
Arcadia (the spider is returning, as the Pangea crane has to come down because they didn't get planning permission for it) - https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/the-arcadia...

I'm very happy that Nick Mulvey is playing Avalon - brilliant singer/songwriter. He's got a new album out soon, but his last album 'Wake Up Now' was an absolute masterpiece.

Likewise, I've seen the 'Numbers several times, always entertaining.

Tanita Tikaram is on at the Avalon too. She was the first performing artist I ever saw at a paid gig, in Birmingham in 1988, The 16yo me had quite the teenage crush on her, I have still got her debut album on cassette.

Alas I was barking up the wrong tree there my teenage lust will deffo remain unfulfilled as a 50yo bloke! hehe

I follow her on Insta, she was really positive over lockdown, streaming a number of gigs. Will be nice to see her, 34yrs on.

Saint Etienne just self-confirmed 7:45pm on the Park Stage on the Friday.

Them, followed by Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott headlining on the Acoustic Stage has got Friday night shaped up to be an absolute corker for me already!

I’m fairly happy with my roster, not too many clashes.

I saw The Pet Shop Boys in Brum on Saturday night, absolutely outstanding. They will be a fine Other Stage headliner to bring things to a close on the Sunday. I’ll be there for sure.

not a huge list of must-sees for me

annoying thing as ever is some of the smaller bands i am interested in are playing headliners on small stages rather than half way up the bill on big stages

Four Tet and Bicep being two

understandable given playing in dark suits them more than sunshine

Friday seems the worst day for me for clashes, shouldn't be too much running around Saturday Sunday but same as usual, it's headline clashes that hurt - Jamie T at the same time as PM being the Worst for me

All getting excited then? I packed my bags last night!

Weather forecast looks pretty decent - little or no rain. Hopefully it will be sunny but perhaps not as hot as 2019. I'm generally a sun worshipper but that heat was a tad relentless.

I'm going on an official coach package from Reading at 0600hrs on Wednesday. Fortunately some mates going in cars and/or campervans are able to take a load of beers in for me. I feel for those whose journey may well be affected by the train strike, although the noises coming out of GWR are that they aim to be running as many services as possible, and a normal service on Monday afterwards. I will wait to be convinced - surely there will be a huge issue of rolling stock being in the wrong place?

Hopefully the commuting masses will all elect to WFH so that there is enough space for those heading to the festival.

Might be more excited than ever before but difficult to judge

Everything is in a pile in our front room ready to be organised - based on the weather I'll judge how many trips we're going to make to the car

I'm thinking getting in the queue at 4AM with my tent, a chair and enough drinks and snacks to get me back to the car at about 11 for more stuff.

I live in Glastonbury so looking forward to a very busy weekend in town although parking is going to be fun..
