Drumroll please ..........

We have the 1st PHers Top 50 bands. But before we get into the details; here's some background info:
  • 51 PHers votes have been counted (so far)
  • A total of 494 votes were counted
  • Covering 227 bands
  • For people who multiple-posted or posted more than 10, only the 1st 10 on the 1st post counted
  • Where bands share a ranking, they are simply sorted alphabetically
  • I'm only showing 48 bands, as its conveniently where the bands with 3 votes got to smile
  • I'll update this list every few days/weeks (depending on number of inputs).

Fine work

Seems a decent list and can’t argue with many names (apart from the bloody Who but that’s personal taste)

Fully agreed on The Who hehe

In my own personal top 10, only 4 made it to the latest (to date) top 10

So over-rated

Only 1 of mine made top 10 but I can understand why all the others are up there and popular

Nine out of my ten made list, which is nice.

The funny thing is almost all of the bands listed by everyone seldom get or got any airplay (at the time they were current, some still are of course) and yet they are the most popular amongst a bunch of middle aged car drivers.

All I can say is god gave rock n roll to you and thank god for Planet Rock!

Still had to check, though. And it's "ie", not "ee". Er, apparently.

I thought I'd caught all variations of them. I'll correct that tonight and will re-post.
