Honestly this is one of the best heavy metal albums ever made,
Which makes it number 13 million in the overall best album charts. rofl

As of right now, its..

Iron Maiden - Somewhere in Time
Death - Leprosy
Slayer - South of Heaven

Next week, it could include Rust in Peace/ Peace Sells (Megadeth), any of Metallica's first 4, any number of Sabbath , Death or AC/DC albums...too many to definitively choose 3!

As much as I like the more noisy stuff, these three probably get played more than any others:

Deacon Blue: Raintown
Kate Bush: Aerial
Thea Gilmore: Avalanche

I discovered these guys thanks to lockdown - easy listening (not meant as an insult) metal, with some amazing hooks/riffs

Manic Street Preachers - Holy Bible
Tool - Lateralus
The Jam - All Mod Cons

It's interesting how this differs from favourite overall albums isn't it. Only one of the above would crack my top 10 favourite albums ever list.

Interesting that they're all third studio albums also.

I'd say...

Snoop Dogg - Doggystyle
Dr Dre - 2001
Dr Dre - The Chronic

Bit of a theme here!

Some great choices so far. A lot of love for OK computer, personally I prefer both The Bends and Amnesiac, but all excellent.

Choosing 3 is tough, but if forced I'd say:

Placebo - Placebo
Counting Crows - August & Everything After
Stereophonics - Performance and Cocktails

All City Elite - Just listen almost made the list.

My measure of an all time favourite is something that you could listen to over and over again and never skip a track and if you had only one album to listen to for ever.

My three in no particular order

Wish you were Here Pink Floyd
Rumours Fleetwood Mac
Born to Run Bruce Springsteen

Best albums I can think of where I can listen to them all the way through with no disappointment.

However, not necessarily the best albums, there are better, but they would have the odd track that don’t belong.

Led Zeppelin: Physical Graffiti.
Daft Punk: Random Access Memories
King's X: Dogman.
Dvořák: 9th symphony.

Yeah, that's 4. 5 would involve Beethoven. 6 would feature Outkast.

I'm smuggling this one in my pants. It's got a weird video and everything!
