Seems quite a few of you are finding it easy - really?

An album you like every single track on? I found it really tough, so many that have 9/10 great tracks then 1 or 2 duffers! Do all the OK Computer fans really listen to track 7 - Fitter Happier all the way through.... tongue out

Absolutely. That track is pivotal to the whole meaning of the album.

Agreed. It's definitely my least favourite track but it's a key part of the album. You may not particularly like the musical style but in no way is it filler.

Oh yes, deep, meaningful, lots of powerful imagery.

Don't think if I were stuck on a desert island listening to it on repeat that it wouldn't get skipped at the 2nd or 3rd listen.

Each to their own, interesting how others view it thumbup

In isolation, it's obviously a weird track, but I think OK Computer is, as much as any record I can think of, something that really has to be listened to in its entirety to fully appreciate it. 'Fitter, Happier' is the point where our protagonist starts to give in, really, before completely succumbing a bit later in 'No Surprises'.

Excellent choices! thumbup

For me, it would be...
Massive Attack - Mezzanine
Tom Waits - Closing Time

After that, I'd be struggling to think of one that is (IMHO) perfect from start to finish. For Your Pleasure (Roxy Music), Back In Black (AC/DC) and The Pale Emperor (Marilyn Manson) get close, as does Led Zeppelin's 4 (Symbols)... but I really hate Misty Mountain Hop (sorry!).

Nebraska - Bruce Springsteen
Rumours - Fleetwood Mac
Appetite for Destruction - Guns N’ Roses

Are my all time always go back to listen all the way through three, possibly due to times and places and memories.

But also anything by Jimmy Eat World, War on Drugs and Mogwai gets listened to from start to finish.

Obscure Alternatives - Japan

Dry - PJ Harvey

Black & White - The Stranglers

Horses - Patti Smith

Hard to choose three, and really had to think about listening to an album and not skipping a track.

This could be entirely different tomorrow as others have said. smile

Ocht there are hundreds. Far too many to list only three, so have one instead.

Gerry Rafferty City to City.
Home and Dry is a fantastic track.
