Is at Vincent going to be screwed over by the rail strikes?
I’m sure she can catch the bus, if needed. We’re off to a gig this weekend / always planned to drive - now expecting so much more traffic so leaving to get there much earlier and expecting getting home hours later.

Hadn't really considered the rail strike
I can't imagine the gig will be canceled, but getting to it may be harder than usual!
I was going to drive to Richmond and get the tube from there. It's the 29th, though, and I've not seen any strike announcement for that date yet.

I’d have a plan B all sorted just in case. I can't imagine the gig will be canceled, but getting to it may be harder than usual!

Was supposed to be seeing Interpol at the Camden Roundhouse last night.
Found out 15 minutes before doors opening that due to illness the show was cancelled!?
At the venue the staff outside didn’t even know at first and then eventually confirmed it, but they said the first they knew was the band’s social media post just before doors.
So many unhappy people outside, lots had travelled miles, hotels, days off work etc. Understand these things happen and it must have been really bad to pull the show, but 15 minutes before doors opening felt a bit like a kick in the …….
Poor souls at the front of the queue had been there hours so they could get to the front.
I saw that on the Roundhouse Facebook page, some very disgruntled fans, understandably.Found out 15 minutes before doors opening that due to illness the show was cancelled!?

Wonder if the band had copped for the sts and couldn't go on?
This happened to The Wonder Stuff the other night - they had to pull the set early because two of the members were about to have 'an accident' and just couldn't go on, had to race off stage!
They only originally announced the Tuesday show and it sold out so quickly they announced the Wednesday as well, so all the slow coaches on ticket release day got the benefit
It was the drummer apparently, he didn't play the Wednesday or their remaining dates across Europe. Think they flew someone in the do the Wednesday show and the remaining dates.
And to top it all off for the disgruntled fans, the rescheduled show has been announced for a Monday night next month.....
I will be there though

Just got back from Nine Inch Nails at the Eden Project. Never listened to any of their stuff before, it was my youngest daughter that's into them. Have to say I really enjoyed the show so I'll have a dive into their back catalogue.
Did you go on the Friday or saturday?I was there on Friday night with my 13yo and we thought it was a great show. Sound quality was amazing, and the Eden Project is great. No queues to speak of getting food or drinks, nor getting out of the venue.
