So Rival Sons at Kentish town Wednesday night would take some beating,so Jerry Cantrell at shepherds Bush Thursday just did,jam packed, mental night obviously Alice in chains tunes raised the roof, brilliant two nights, dunno why anyone bothers with stadium stuff like GnR, nothing like the atmosphere
Depends which band. Rammstein can't even play inside as their stage is so ridiculous, let alone a small venue. Slipknot were probably the best other band seen in a stadium, violent and mental and got injuries that lasted for months. Certainly didn't feel without atmosphere.

Saw him in Cologne pre lockdown. Excellent apart from the political bks pushed at us in the middle. And he played the whole of “Animals”: brilliant.

Metallica at NOS alive in Lisbon last week were fking epic. Mrs recons cos it was the final show of the tour the normally (great, but) careful James just let rip. I said as it was a more mainstream festival we'd be lucky to get 90 mins, so of course we got 2+ hourslaugh

just back from North Sea Jazz in Rotterdam. huge jazz & soul festival with as comprehensive a line up as you could wish for.

a very civilised experience compared to uk festivals with an older crowd and predominantly inside at a huge conference and music venue; my 4th time there and will be heading back next year.

just booked to see lady Blackbird (again) at the Barbican and also Maverick Sabre at Koko for a 10th anniversary of his debut album.

Bluedot festival next weekend a Jodrell bank

The Struts at Rock City last night.
A gloriously fun, hot, sweaty sing-a-long from start to finish.
And good god it was loud, my ears are still ringing tonight!

Off to see the ABBA thing in London on Monday.

Not really sure what to expect given the holograms etc but heard it’s brilliant.

There's a big gap after Edinburgh as well for more to be scheduled.
Even though we're going to Paris, We'll likely go to Murrayfield even though it's a Tuesday...

Currently recovering from The Prodigy in Brum last night. Absolute carnage, drenched in sweat, battered and bruised laugh

These were filmed by a lad who was by me, I couldn't fussed taking my phone out (language warning)..

Yeah there was a lot of unhappy campers. They are a bit of a cult huge band without ever really being in the mainstream or public eye, so loads of people had travelled miles and even abroad to watch.

They only originally announced the Tuesday show and it sold out so quickly they announced the Wednesday as well, so all the slow coaches on ticket release day got the benefit frown

It was the drummer apparently, he didn't play the Wednesday or their remaining dates across Europe. Think they flew someone in the do the Wednesday show and the remaining dates.

And to top it all off for the disgruntled fans, the rescheduled show has been announced for a Monday night next month.....

I will be there though smile
Went to the rescheduled Interpol show last night at Kentish Town Forum.

HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT furiousfuriousfurious

They were absolutely fantastic as always though. We were upstairs in the seating part so god only knows how bad it was downstairs in the main bit.

They played a really decent long set as well, the hits, some new ones and some nice oldies... Perfect yes

Thought I might try and get a Springsteen ticket.

After a 10 minute wait I was offered a load of £X00 'packages'.

F**k that for a game of soldiers.

Probably for the best, though, as who wants to be standing half a mile away from the stage anyway...

Presumably all the normal reseller sites (private and commercial) will have plenty of tickets as usual though...
