Email this morning informing me that:

Zombies - Now May 2023

Was Feb 2022, was Feb 2021, was May 2020

The thing is, the two man men both 76, they might just pop off of old age at this rate !

I have now found out that one of them has to go into hospital and will need several weeks to recover. These things happen.

Just booked tickets for godspeed you black emperor. Last time I saw them was on their reunion tour ages ago, and was underwhelmed. However, from what I’ve heard they have been excellent since.

Big Country last Friday in Holmfirth, very small venue. Present for girlfriend as she was a fan BitD. Jam packed, lots of pogo-ing at the front, everyone enjoying themselves. Good to see people with smiles on their faces again. I enjoyed the gig more than I thought I would, the band put on a good show.

Only booked Ghost at the 02 London in April.
Can’t wait, it will be the first time I’ve seen them. I’ve just turned 46 but feel 16 years old again!

Also Ghost, Manchester though.
First saw them with Metallica, loved them and then saw them on their own tour in Nottingham. They were amazing. I'm 48 now, cant mosh down at the front anymore because of joint issues, but as long as I'm breathing I'll always try and get to a few good gigs.

Still have My Chemical Romance tickets for Milton Keynes as well, which I think is May. Need to chase up number one son who has the tickets for that one.

Samantha Fish tour postponed. Is this greed for ticket money or genuine (misplaced IMO) concern for fans?

Very nice line up. Hoping that I can make it to the rescheduled Sabaton date, whenever that is.

Well, that was very good. So the next one is next Monday at Parr Hall, Warrington, then on to the Manchester Apollo on Friday.

How do they sound without Hugh Cornwell?

Great, but then I've had plenty of time to get used to it as he's been gone for over thirty years now. Of course it's different (from what I remember of those gigs), especially now on this tour they're down to a single original band member in JJ Burnel, but it's still a great show.

Nice one, I'd get tickets for the Apollo but can't get that night off. I have managed to get tickets for Buzzcocks (who are also down to one original band member) at the Academy though.

Aerosmith have cancelled their tour. "The health and welfare of our fans in the time of covid is the most important to us"

Do the tour then.
