How did I miss this thread yikes

Huge trance fan here and another with a stack of vinyl on the loft. That includes a mix of house and some harder stuff too.

The two tracks responsible

Well, following another frankly ridiculous Liberation at Fabric, where time was spent bouncing between the main room and the vinyl room, I feel that something is missing. So another mix was put together! Enjoy – there are some screamingly fresh tracks in here and a few utter classics.

Sun & Moon – Above & Beyond ft Richard Bedford (Blastoyz Extended Remix)
RAMsterdam – Ram (Jorn van Deynhoven Remix)
Air – AA Meeting (Extended Mix)
Will I – Jordan Suckley Clara Yates (Extended Mix)
Helix – UDM (Extended Mix)
Moonlight Party – Fonzerelli (Greg Downey Remix)
Tierra Santa – Dan Cooper
Element – Gary McPhail (Extended Mix)
Flaming June – BT (Paul Van Dyk Remix)
Black Hole – Craig Connelly & Christina Novelli (Giuseppe Ottaviani Extended Remix)
La Guerrera Sarreaus – Arman Bas Vs. Bigtoppo (Extended Mix)
Mainframe – Allen Watts (Extended Mix)
Push To Shock – Blue Serigala (Extended Mix)

Maria Healey dropped that mid set at Liberation. Went down rather well!
Thrillseekers then played Bossanova - Stone Cold. The place went nuts!

Hi fellow Liberation goer! I was there too, took me an hour to get into it as I'd been at Ministry for the Misfits event and a boat party the night before, I felt like the ground was actually swaying on the way in lol.

What an epic day out though, I had to go solo as none of my mates will go clubbing anymore never mind to a trance event, but I made a couple of friends on the dance floor and we ended up spending the day mostly floating between main room and the HTE in room 3.

Honestly, one of the best days out in ages, was absolutely glowing for days afterwards. cloud9

Now, on to Frantic at Koko as a pitstop before Trance Sanctuary at Ministry in March...

Have followed on soundcloud and will get listening... biggrin

Your mix of Airwave has given me almost instant goosebumps. If I listen to that after a rave day I think I'll probably cry lol.

Awesome! Let's sort it out before the next one, are you doing Trance Sanctuary as well?

Have to admit that since discovering day raves I think it'll be quite rare I do the night ones... I got 2 and a half hours sleep after Misfits before getting up and trying to recover before heading to fabric lol

I do Sanctuary occasionally - I find that there are too many ‘tourists’ who want to see a DJ and not be there to dance.
Much prefer Liberation, vibe only 2nd to Serious at The Cross.

Speaking of which, my wife’s valentines present (we met there).

I've never been to The Cross. I'm still discovering the best trance events to be honest, my first Liberation I wasn't so much a fan of (I kept finding that things would be just getting going and then the dj would slow it down a bit). But last one was amazing (possibly due to the HTE room!)

Trance Sanctuary I've done a couple of times and found it good, the last one was the best with Bryan Kearney, the main room was absolutely lifting, amazing atmosphere and everyone was really into it.

It probably helps that in fabric they put the stickers over your phone camera and they do get shirty with people who start filming or taking photos.

I was at a hard house event in Brighton last week and there was someone kept taking videos with the camera torch on, which was a bit of a buzz kill in an otherwise dark room with lasers and stuff.

The best sort of modern era trance events were Passion at The Emporium this night were the only thing I've experienced that came close to the old Orbit in Leeds. Proper crowd and proper atmosphere. Have been to a lot of great events over the years but those ones stand out!

You should check out Anomaly Summer of Love Festival. Old school vibe to the festival and always a cracking event.

Heading to Malta in May to see Factor B on a boat, should be epic!

The guy that's promoting Euphoria has added me on Facebook and I'm quite tempted to head out there. It does sound epic!

This one stuck with me...

Not really an expert on Trance (my Wife used to be heavily into it) but did like hard trance when it was dropped in the techno / gabber rooms.

I've been listening to a lot of Orkidea stuff on Youtube, never heard of him before but worked a lot with Solarstone and produced some epic uplifting trance.

This is just wonderful....
