Not sure if this has been posted but I listen to it most weeks. An absolute master class in live techno.

Was listening to this yesterday... Popped into my head whilst driving... So had a look for it on YouTube.

I know.. I know... It's technically acid house.

Let's not get caught up in that genre pish, leave that to the s on the trance thread. That's 100% balls to the bone techno, and a stone-cold classic to boot. I had the '92 re-issue (remixes). Quite possibly the best quality vinyl I've ever owned. A solid marble grey effort, swear you could have diced onions on it, and it'd still have played.

Let us get to Mr Cobain and Dougans AKA FSOL, Mental Cube, to name but a few, and the Jumpin' & Pumpin label, guilty of many, many excellent compilations. I have a box set of CDs of their gear in my shed, and it, latterly, filled in sooo many gaps from early 90s rave tape mixes "ahh so that's what that was"...

In a word, stratospheric.

Don't see a tracklisting, however, I do hear Acid Rain era UR, whether it's OG material or "influenced by" doesn't really concern me, that's what I hear.

You really think I was going to mention one of the classics, and not post it? Oh, the naiveté.

Ayia Napa '91....

Ramon Zenker recently stated Hardfloor wouldn't exist without this, I dare say Hawtin would have taken a significantly different career path too.

Well, this was an unexpected hiatus.

Normally, long before now, there would have been some clear, crisp calm Autumn nights, slight mist present, risk of air, if not ground, frost. The sort of night if you were venturing into a seldom used nightclub of a Friday night, below an Indian restaurant, that the proprietors would have to wheel out some of those butane heaters, you know, the ones Calor Gas...
