Oh no: another what’s this car thread!

Just flicking through the telly channels and saw this on a banal Channel 5 Hitler documentary, featuring several millennial talking heads from UK universities that no-one has heard of. This was in the corner of some colour film of pre-war Berlin. Any ideas?

Not that dissimilar in looks to the VW Beetle.
Wikipedia says the original basic design for that originated in the 1925 by the designer Bela Barenyi & his original drawings are held by MB.
As he worked for a number of companies including Adler perhaps not surprising that they produced a similar looking car.
