Currently got booked

March - Pendulum
April - Thirty Seconds to Mars
June - Smashing Pumpkins/Weezer

All in Birmingham and all with Mrs Bodhi, hence seeing 30 Seconds in a trade for Pendulum smile

She's also got VIP tickets for Taylor Swift in Liverpool, which I am slightly jealous of.
Thirty Seconds to Mars have postponed their gig until June, so looks like its Smashing Pumpkins on the Friday, and 30 Seconds on the Sunday.

Anyone I'm on a call with the Monday after may need to speak up a bit smile

Also added Manic Street Prachers at Trentham Gardens in August, hopefully supported by Suede as they are on the rest of the tour.

Just home from Robert Plant with Suzi Dian in Saving Grace, at Peterborough’ New Theatre. Bit of a treat, that was… very polished indeed. Musically stunning

Springsteen - Belfast in May

Interpol - Newcastle in November. Antics 20th Anniversary tour. Have loved them since this came out yet somehow I've never seen them live. Newcastle city hall should be an interesting place to see them.

John Grant will be touring a new record too, good times for the fans.

On the subject of Bella Union artists, Exmagician announced a new album yesterday. They're a band who will go almost totally unrecognised in here, I suspect but their last in 2016, was great, not a duff track on it. Badly hoping they'll tour it this year.

Yes! I also have to put up with Ed Sheeran in the name of domestic harmony.

Indeed yes, I've just ordered his new album on CD and pink vinyl for good measure. But I do find it odd that a T-shirt (well, as I was ordering, it seemed rude not to) cost two and half times that of his CD.

I saw him in Liverpool pretty much as the last lockdown finished. When he took a bow at the end, he seemed so pleased to be on a stage again that I wasn't sure if he wasn't going to burst into tears.

Probably my most expensive gig going year ever. I do miss the days of £3 tickets for the front stalls at the Bham Odeon.
Now plus Deep Purple in November. Comparatively, the tickets were almost cheap. Just as well, as the kids are going too.

Not so much music as theatre with challenging subject matters.
Back in January, my wife and I went to a comedy night at the Everyman in Liverpool.
Female only comics. Femme De la Fem £5 each.
There was a raffle. In support of a local women's support charity.
We won tickets for a play tonight at the Playhouse

My beautiful launderette.

I don't know that if you had a gram of homophobia, that it would be for you.

I think echo and the bunnymen are on at the empire and Robert plant is on at the Philharmonic tonight.

Saw Pendulum at Resorts World last night - found them excellent. They've obviously moved on a bit since i first heard them back in the raving days, with some tunes being closer to thrash metal than DnB, but more than enough classics to keep me going.

Rob didn't do much in the way of audience participation, and there was a hint at times for the classics they were just playing a CD given how close it sounded to the original, but overall really enjoyed it.
