Just wondering if anyone is/has used the Sellaband website. A friend of mine and his girlfriend have recently joined. The are doing quite well having raised nearly $6000 of the $50,000 required. The work under the name of BIM!
For those who don't know, Sellaband is a website where you can invest your own money in a band/singer. The aim is to raise $50,000 dollars which will pay for time in a recording studio and for the creation of a CD. The investors get the finished CD and profits from adertising and sales revenue. Personally I find the concept quite interesting, so was more than happy to invest.
So has anyone else used this, and if so who have you invested in??
