Fairlight - wossit worth?

We found a Fairlight CMI I system in our attic when we moved into our new house. The monitor does not work, and is being replaced, but assuming it all works, how much could I realistically expect to get for it?

According to this article depending on condition/model between £1.5k and £4.5k, article is around 8 years old in itself tho, so dunno if they'll have changed in value much since then.

A classic bit of kit for nostalgia, but technology has come a long way.

Sadly for you its the Series II/IIx and the series III that sell for better money. I would't expect to get more than £1300 for a Seies I in exceptional condition, unless its had upgrades. A lot had series II/IIx upgrades with midi added this makes them a little more attractive.

You should keep it, grow a mullet, and pretend you're the keyboardist from Kajagoogoo on Top of the Pops.
