Hi all

Had my trusted and much loved Korg Triton for about 7 years now. I've been looking at what I could get to replace it (for a similar 1k-2k budget). The obvious contender is the sparkly new Korg M3, which seems to be the modern day equivalent.

Problem is, on paper the spec is much better, and has more features, more toys etc etc, however when I had a tinkle on one at the weekend, it doesn't actually come across as being much different from my Triton. The sounds are near enough the same, the Combis are more of the same, the new features dont seem to add much.

I'm wanting to upgrade, but finding it difficult to justify the money.

Also consider I'm not a good musician or anything, its just a toy to play with to chill out for 15 mins here and there.

Any opinions from anyone as to whether I should or shouldn't ??
